  19. CD-ROM project, "UNDER THE SUN".  The CD-ROM based QuickTime calendar contains
  20. over 65 minutes of Ridgeline's award winning* film footage.  The film footage
  21. has been assembled into monthly vignettes and was shot in Alaska, Colorado,
  22. Oregon and France.  Specific content includes:  Sea Kayaking, Bungee Jumping,
  23. Parapenting (Parasailing), Mountain Biking, Snowboarding, Extreme Skiing, Time
  24. Lapse Weather, Scenics, Skateboarding, Mogul Skiing, Ice Climbing,
  25. Rollerblading, Sailing, Lakes & Streams, Wildlife, and Alaska  Aerials. The
  26. action-packed footage is displayed at 200 x 148 pixels - 15 frames per second
  27. and requires a doublespeed CD-ROM drive.

  29. In addition to the breath-taking footage, "UNDER THE SUN" features a robust
  30. 1993 calendar. The calendar allows the user to enter appointments at a day
  31. level and to set up to 3 different highlights for each day in the "month at a
  32. glance" view. Daily and weekly reports can be printed to allow the user to take
  33. their schedule with them.

  35. As part of the promotional bundle Johnson Books is also offering "The Outdoor
  36. Athlete". The CD-ROM combines text, QuickTime video and narration of
  37. thirty-three exercises, and interactive files for journal keeping to provide a
  38. personal training program which can be tailored to individual sports and
  39. ability levels. The interactive journal files permit one to record daily
  40. workout routines and then total cross-training hours monthly and annually.(A
  41. brief introduction to "The Outdoor Athlete" is available on the Apple CD
  42. Sampler that ships with the AppleCD 300i CD-ROM drives. "The Outdoor Athlete"
